NSA Membership CPE Requirements

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Requirements of the National Society of Accountants

CPE Reporting Cycle January 1, 2009 thru December 31, 2011

Active Members of the National Society of Accountants (NSA) are required to meet continuing professional education (CPE) requirements, completing a minimum of 72 credit hours in each three-year reporting cycle, with a minimum of 16 credit hours in any one year.

Members who joined NSA before January 1, 2009 are required to report a total of 72 CPE credit hours for the CPE reporting cycle January 1, 2009 – December 31, 2011, with a minimum of 16 credit hours in any one year.
 
Members who joined NSA between January 1, 2009 - December 31, 2009 are required to report a minimum of 48 CPE credit hours with no fewer than 16 CPE credit hours in both 2010 and 2011.
 
Members who joined NSA January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010 are required to report a minimum of 24 CPE credit hours.
