NSA's Income & Fees Survey contains detailed information on fees charged for tax preparation and accounting services, broken down by state, geographic region and practice size. It includes information on salaries and compensation for principals/partners, practitioners and support staff, as well as fringe benefits. Demographic data on the respondents describes type of practice, community size, gender, credentials, years in practice, and education level. Operating expenses broken down by category are included in addition to information on succession plans and business practices.
